About Everybody Eats Vegan

Bienvenidos to Everybody Eats Vegan!
This blog has lived in my heart for years — a dedicated space to share my story, my roots, and my love for food.
Born and raised in Port Chester, New York, as a first-generation child of Salvadoran immigrants, food was our universal language. It was culture, celebration, and connection. You were always greeted with a warm, "¿Ya comistes?" Every gathering centered around a shared table where recipes were passed down, risas filled the room, and memories were made.

In 2013, I transitioned to a vegan lifestyle after learning about the realities of factory farming and animal cruelty. That decision completely transformed the way I saw food. I began recreating my favorite comfort meals and holiday favorites — the dishes I grew up loving — but in a way that aligned with my values. The best part? No animals harmed.
This blog is where those stories and nostalgic flavors come together. Here you'll find easy-to-make vegan recipes rooted in culture, tradition, and compassion.
Because at this table,
Everybody Eats. 🌱
